POLICE TOLD OSWALD, RUBY SEEN IN WACO

   WACO, TEXAS - POLICE OFFICIALS IN WACO SAID TUESDAY THAT OFFICERS HAD INVESTIGATED A REPORT 
SOON AFTER THE ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENT KENNEDY THAT LEE HARVEY OSWALD AND JACK RUBY HAD BEEN 
IN WACO TOGETHER BEFORE THE CRIME.
   No one connected with the investigation would comment for publication, although they made it 
plain they placed no credence in the report.
   It came from a woman who owns real estate in part of Waco near the Brazos River.
   She told officer about Nov. 27 she had rented a room to a man she believed to be Lee Oswald. 
 He used it for several weeks, then one day another man came in a car; the second man, she 
thinks was Ruby.
   The Waco Chief Police said, "All I can tell you is that a woman did talk to me on the 
subject.  I called in an FBI agent and turned the matter over to him."
   THE WOMAN MAKING THE REPORT SAID SHE HAD DANCED WITH THE MAN SHE BELIEVES IS OSWALD AT A WACO 
LATIN-AMERICAN ANNUAL FESTIVAL.  IT WAS HELD DURING A PERIOD THAT OSWALD IS KNOWN TO HAVE BEEN 
IN NEW ORLEANS; ONE OF THE FACTORS, APPARENTLY, THAT CAUSED INVESTIGATORS TO BE SKEPTICAL OF THE 
WOMAN'S REPORT.

We can see right off this report is incorrect.  How could someone that could not drive a car or 
shoot a rifle be coordinated enough to dance???                    MP
