Write Vince at vmplac@telerama.com HSCA INTERVIEW WITH SECRET SERVICE AGENT JOHN MARSHALL: Recently-released documents from the HSCA continue to add many interesting tidbits to the big picture, so to speak. One such document is RIF # 1801007410393, the 2/22/78 HSCA interview of the SAIC of the Miami Secret Service office, John Marshall. Some of the highlights from this interview: -Marshall served six and one-half years in the Pennsylvania State Police with Floyd Boring before entering the Secret Service on 6/30/41; -Marshall conducted all advance work on JFK's frequent trips to Palm Beach; -Marshall maintained regular contact with Floyd Boring; -Both Marshall and fellow Miami office agent Robert Jamison knew about the Joseph Milteer threat/ info. BEFORE Dallas; -"[Marshall's] signature on the 11/12/63 Jamison memo [re: Milteer] that went to PRS was put there by SA Jamison" (!); - a stick of dynamite was discovered on the motorcade route by the Miami Police Dept. after JFK's Orange Bowl speech to the Bay of Pigs brigade in 1962!; -the Secret Service "had JFK's ear" [not the other way around]; -Marina Oswald had a special rapport with Agent Jamison---it was to him that Marina first disclosed the info. that it was LHO who made the Walker attempt; AND, MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL: [QUOTE] "TWICE DURING THE INTERVIEW, MR. MARSHALL MENTIONED THAT, FOR ALL HE KNEW, SOMEONE IN THE SECRET SERVICE COULD POSSIBLY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE ASSASSINATION. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME AN AGENT HAS MENTIONED THE POSSIBILITY THAT A CONSPIRACY EXISTED, BUT IT IS THE FIRST TIME THAT AN AGENT HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE SECRET SERVICE COULD HAVE BEEN INVOLVED."
