              For the Published Record

   I must put this on the published record.  Someone
is apparently upset at my postings re the CIA and e-mailed
me disgusting, salacious material suggesting I am interested 
in an illegal activity.  The e-mail asks for a reponse. I cannot 
tell them to go to hell as this would put me on record somewhere 
as responding to their address.

   When CIABASE first became known, I began receiving "catalogues,"
at the CIABASE Herndon, VA post office box.  A "Sixty Minutes" program 
in the last year or so noted how the government ran sting ops like
this.

   The danger in this posting is that someone might assume
I am "guilty" but that danger is less than not recording what
happened.
