- Before Summit County was formed in 1840 Twinsburg Township belonged to several other counties. The date of 1800 has been used as a reference point since it is close to the 1803 date when Ohio became a state.
1800 - 1808: The area of Twinsburg Twp was in Trumbull County.
(Trumbull County was established in 1800.)1808 - 1812: The area of Twinsburg Twp was in Portage County.
(Portage County was established in 1808.)1840 - Present: The area of Twinsburg Twp is in Summit County.
(Summit County was formed in 1840.)

Established 1929, 256 acres. Located at 8592 Darrow Rd; Twinsburg OH 44087. On the west side of Darrow Rd (Rt 91) between Highland Rd and I-480. Burial records are at the cemetery.LOCUST GROVE CEMETERY:
Established 1823. Located on the south side of E Aurora Rd, west of Darrow Rd (Rt 91). Gravestone inscriptions have been published by the Hudson Chapter, OGS; 22 Aurora St; Hudson OH 44236.Notice to our readers:
