Status: Last Burial 1900

History:Established by David Hudson and Benjamin Whedon in 1808. This is the oldest existing cemetery in Hudson and Summit County. Ruth Mills Brown (1772-1808) the wife of Owen Brown and the mother of abolitionist leader John Brown (1800-1859)was the first burial here. Also at rest are many of the town's pioneers, including founder David Hudson.
