Henesdale (or Hinsdale) Bates of Norton, age 84, was born 25 Dec 1757 at Durham in New Haven County, CT. He was living in Hartland, CT, when he enlisted. He moved in 1811 to Vernon in Trumbull County, OH, and in 1814 moved to Norton in Summit County, OH. He applied for a pension in Medina County, OH, on 24 June 1832at age 75 Pension S16043
Reuben Beach, age 82, of Tallmadge applied for a pension 9 July 1828 in what was then Portage County, OH, He was living with Reuben B. Beach. Pension S46366 CT line BLW .#5490-100-20 Sep 1791 served as private in Continental line.
Elijah Bryan, age 84, of North Akron applied for a pension 28 Oct 1819 in Otsego County, NY,. He was age 60 on 3 Sep 1819. In 1821 he was a resident of Masonville in Delaware County, NY, age 61, with a wife aged 52 and children: Betsey, 25, Elijah Jr. 19, Amanda 17, and Constant aged 12. In 1846 one C. Bryan of Akron said his father had been dead three years. Pension S17860. BLW #5519-100-19 April 1794 Connecticut Line.
Lambert Clement of Coventry Twp., age 83, was born 4 June 1757 at Johnstown, NY and lived there when he enlisted. He moved to Stratford , NY in 1808 and applied for a pension on 11 Sep 1833 at Montgomery County, NY. He married Mary Veder of Rosedale, NY, on 28 Feb 1787 and was a resident of Caughnawage, NY. He died 31 Mar 1842 in Coventry Twp., Summit County, OH. His widow, age 80 and a resident of Coventry Twp. applied for a pension on 26 Feb 1848. A son, not named, lived in Summit County, in 1840.
Jonathan Draper of Hudson, age 88, was
born in Roxbury, MA, 18 Dec 1750 and was living there when he enlisted.
He later moved to Washington, NH, and enlisted there. He was a resident
of Fort Ann, Washington County, NY, when he applied for a pension 15 Aug
1832 at Washington County, NY. He was living with his son, Asa, at Hudson,
Summit County, OH, in 1840

Isaac Dudley, age 79, of Tallmadge was born 8 Apr 1761 at Middletown, CT, and lived there when he enlisted. He married Anne Woodhouse of Wethersefiled, CT on 19 Jan 1785. He applied for a pension on 4 Apr 1833 at Tallmadge, Summit County, OH. He died there 20 Sep 1843. His widow applied for a pension 21 May 1844 in Summit County at the age of 83 and was a resident of Tallmadge. She died there 7 Apr 1848 leaving children: Sophia Tyler, Elizabeth Senard or Lenard and Julia Spafford who mad an affidavit 18 Mar 1853 in Summit County, OH. Pension R3101 Connecticut Line.
John Ellsworth of Hudson was born 7 Dec 1762 in Springfield, MA, and lived at Torrington in Litchfield County, CT, when he enlisted. He applied for a pension there 3 Aug 1832 and in 1833 moved to Hudson in what was then Portage County, OH, to be near his children who were not named. Pension S2196 CT line.
Thomas Granger, 76, of Tallmadge, enlisted at Sadesfield (Sandisfield) MA on 18 Oct 1820. He applied for a pension 20 May 1818 in Steuben County, NY. He moved to Portage County, OH and was age 56 with a wife, 54, and children; Betsey, age 18; William, age 15, and Harriet, 12. A son, William, made affidavit at Middlebury in Summit County, OH IN 1854, aged 49, and stated he was the only surviving child of deceased soldier who died 4 Jan 1849 at the home of Richard Chapman and his wife Sylvia, leaving no widow, a granddaughter, Priscilla Boarman, was age 42 in 1854, a resident of Middlebury. John Herrington of Coventry Twp., age 77, b. 1764 lived with John Herrington. He is listed in Lane’s history as living in Coventry Twp. The D.A.R. Patriot Index lists a Pvt. John Harrington of Mass. b. 1764 d. March 1847, who married Asenath Marvin.
William Neal, age 78, of Tallmadge, was born 15 Sep 1764 at Southington in Hartford County, CT and lived there when he enlisted. He applied for a pension 16 Oct 1832 in Portage County, OH. Pension S4599 Connecticut Line
Isaac Steel ,76, of Stow, was born 1765 in York County, PA, and died September 16, 1850. He married Elizabeth Galloway. He was living with Isaac Steel
Simeon Tupper (listed in the 1841 census
as Tappan), age 74 was born Jan 5, 1771 in
Salisburg, CT, and died December 2, 1845.
He served under Col. Joseph Vose of Massachusetts. He came to Boston Twp.
in 1837..
John Walker of Hudson was born 1 Oct 1764 at Carlisle in Cumberland County, PA and moved to Spring Station or Garrison in K some six miles south of the Falls of the Ohio River where he lived at the time of his enlistment in Aug 1780. After the war he live in Hamshire County, VA, for 18 or 19 years and moved to Hudson (then in Portage County) about 1800 . He applied for a pension there on 20 Oct 1832 and was living with a son, John Walker Jr., when he died there 3 Sep 1841. He married Rachel Cochran or Crochran or Cockron on 29 May 1789 in Hamshire County, VA. She was 77 when she spplied for a pension in 1845 in Portage County, OH. She died 29 Oct 1847 and had children whose names were not listed. A daugher was mentioned in 1856. In 1832 Walker referred to William Walker in Stow, Portage County, OH, and in 1845 his brother, Robert Walker, was living at Stow (then Summit County). He served in the VA line. Pension R11054
Charles Wooden, age 85, of Stow, was born
November 17, 1758 and died in 1846. He is listed in Lane’s history.
