OHIO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The annual conference of the OGS will be held April 17-19, 2008 at the Sheraton Cincinnati North in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Conference is titled "Navigating The Past: Charting a course for your family tree." There are presessions and 50 programs on many tracks/subjects.
The cost is $115.00 for OGS members (2day), $153.00 for non-OGS members; $58.00 for OGS members(one day), $79.00 for non-OGS members.

NATIONAL GENEALOGICAL CONFERENCE
The Annual NGS Conference will be held 14-17 May 2008, in Kansas City, MO. The conference title is "Show Me the Records."

PALATINES TO AMERICA CONFERENCE
The annual Palatines to America Conference will be held 19-21 June 2008, in Columbus, Ohio. The theme is "Tune up your German Speaking Research"

OHIO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY'S WORKSHOP
The annual Ohio Genealogical Society Workshop will be held from Sunday 22 June 2008, through Friday 27 June 2008 at the OGS Library in Mansfield. Among the Instructors scheduled are Diane Gagel, Shirley Hodges, Elissa Powell
and Craig Scott. The program is set and should be on the OGS website www.ogs.org soon.
OHIO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY CHAPTER MANAGEMENT SEMINAR
The 2008 chapter management seminar will be held on 16 August 2008, at the Holiday Inn in Elyria, Oh. This program should also be on the website.
LATE NIGHT AT THE AKRON-SUMMIT COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Late night at the ASCPL will tale place on September 19, 2008, so hold hold the evening open. Come join other genealogists as we try and find our ancestors
and/or learn ways to break down those brick walls.
OHIO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY'S FALL SEMINAR
The 2008 fall seminar will be held 4 October 2008, at the Kehoe Center, State Route 39 in Shelby, Ohio with John Humphrey teaching four classes on Pennsylvania and German research.
OHIO GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY'S LIBRARIAN'S SEMINAR
This seminar for professional and chapter librarians will be held on Friday, 10 October 2008 at the OGS Library.

GENEALOGICAL SEMINAR AT SEA
"Fly Away Travel" is currently taking reservations for their 2008 "Genealogy Seminar at Sea, sailing October 25th, to November 1st 2008 from Miami.
The cruise will visit San Juan in Puerto Rico, St Maarten and Labadee, Royal Caribbean's private island. The cost is for the cruise, not including airfare is $829 and up (inside cabin), $1019 and up (outside cabin)
and $1140 and up (balcony cabins).
