Keiser Cemetery
Springfield Twp, Summit County, Ohio

Location: Located at 3575 Tisen Rd. In the southeast corner of the township on Tisen Rd, off of Canton Rd, near the Portage County line. Next to Fair Haven Baptist Church where Tisen Road makes the curve to Portage LIne Rd. Maintained by the township.

Status: Last burial seems to be 1960, there are many overturned stones, most of the stones are very old and many unreadable. I counted between 90-100 graves. The grass is cut and not overgrown.

History:As of this time, we have no history but Gerry Huhn viewed the cemetery and made these observations; The largest stone belongs to Abraham and Lydia Tisen. The oldest readable stone belongs to Lewis Keiser; son of C & S Keiser, which could be Solomon and Catharine Keiser, he died Feb 11, 1842; 1yr 3m 24d. The newest death that has a stone seems to be Ronald Alexander that died Jan 29, 1960. Several of the names were Keiser, Tisen, also Tysen.
