Miriam notes this Bible eventually belonged to Mildred Williams, daughter of George Leach Williams and Ellen 'Ella' Matilda Curtis.Mildred Williams Cady gave the Bible to her son, Lyman William Cady, in 1985. Miriam also notes the writing on the cover page is that of Mildred Williams Cady, and it reads: "Property of George S. Curtiss and Emily Brower Curtiss  Grandfather & Grandmother of Mildred Cady on mothers side of family."
