Location: On the west side of Hametown Rd just north of Stimson Rd

Responsible Party: Copley Twp, 1540 S Cleveland-Massillon Rd, Akron, OH 44321
History: The earliest official mention of this cemetery appears to be an 1840 auditor’s tax map which noted the area was designated for burial purposes. It appears the original deed for the cemetery, now in the possession of the Copley Historical Society, was never recorded. While the earliest legible inscription found dates from 1839, it is likely that burials began before then.
