Some of the DC 101 Members who attended the Opening Reception at the
10th International CPSA Exhibition in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas on August 3, 2002.

2002 Convention Snap Shots:
The webmaster told Barbara Krans Jenkins to go forth to Texas with her camera and take pictures to share.
This is what she brought back:

Anna Marie Robbins, chapter representative with DC 101 exhibiting member, Jane Johnson.

James Mateer, CPSA is all smiles with his 6th accepted entry, A Time Remembered.

Jane Johnson (Mansfield, Ohio) with entry, Sleeping Current.

To meet some Ohio CPSA members, we had to go by way of Dallas!
This is Marilyn Marxen from Cincinnati with her piece, Autumn at Mystic Seaport.

Anna Marie Robbins with Amy Lindenberger's award winning Messenger.

Linda Lucas Hardy, representing the Omaha, Texas branch of DC 101,
showing off Laurene Puls' piece,
Live Bait.

(Is it just her Texas accent that makes her prefer to pronounce the title as Fish Sticks?)

Ohioans at the Awards Banquet:
Anna Marie Robbins (Fairlawn) , Marilyn Marxen (Cincinnati), Jim Mateer (Wellington), Ruth Green (Cincinnati), Barbara Krans Jenkins (Akron)

Texans who have infiltrated the friendship circle of DC 101.
Linda Lucas Hardy and Gloria Price.

Another Convention, Another Show:
Our two most faithful attendees of the CPSA International Exhibition over the years:
James Mateer, CPSA, and Barbara Krans Jenkins
, DC 101 President.

To see artwork on exhibit from all participating DC 101 artists

Amy V. Lindenberger's Messenger was awarded The Gainesville, Florida DC 113 Award for Excellence.

Eileen Matias', Picnic in the Clover, hanging in The Atrium Gallery at The University of North Texas.

Barbara Byram's, Surfacing.

I wonder why, with seven DC 101 pieces on display, that our group always poses in front of Amy's picture?
Is she more popular that the rest of us? Is it because
Messenger won an award? Or is that a cheese tray???

Barb loves making new friends, seeing new pieces, and learning new techniques at the annual gathering.

Maggie Toole's Circulism Workshop was attended by Ruth and Barb from DC 101.

Our Signature Members donated pieces to the Silent Auction:

Carol Tomasik, Wisteria; Jim Mateer, On the Rocks; Mary G. Hobbs, Lily on Her Chair
