The Chinese Lion dance is the traditional way to start any special event in China! It wards off evil spirits and ensures Good Fortune! The two-man costume is a brightly colored Lion/Dragon looking creature that is escorted in by loud cymbals, gong and drum playing. First Lion dance recorded back as far as 412BC.
